Nigeria sustained its production quota by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for August 2026 production.
This was contained in the Monthly Oil Market Report (MONR) of August 2026 published on Thursday.
According direct communications, Nigeria’s production fell by 5,000 barrels per day from 1.505million barrels per day in July to 1.500mbpd in August.
The data also showed that Saudi Arabia’s production fell tby 295,000b/d from 7.417mbpd in July o 7.122mbpd in August.
But using secondary sources, Nigeria’s oil production increased by 35,000b/d from 1.537mbpd in July to 1.573mbpd in August.
The report showed that Saudi Arabia’s production fell by 75,000b/d from 7.417mbpd in July to 7.122mbpd in August.
