The apex leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Modakeke, Chief Wahab Bolarinwa Adetunji, the Asalu of Modakeke, on Saturday distributed cash gifts and food palliatives to more than 3,000 party members as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and boost the party’s campaign ahead of the August 15, 2026, Osun State governorship election.
The well-attended programme attracted APC leaders, elders, women, youths, ward executives, and supporters from across Modakeke, who gathered in large numbers to reaffirm their commitment to the party and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
The atmosphere was marked by enthusiasm, unity, and renewed determination as beneficiaries received the support, which many described as timely and impactful amid prevailing economic challenges.
Speaking during the event, Chief Adetunji said the initiative reflected his unwavering commitment to the welfare of APC members and his belief that a strong, united, and motivated grassroots base remains the foundation of electoral success.
He urged party members to remain steadfast, committed, and focused on the collective goal of securing victory for the APC and its governorship candidate in the forthcoming election.
